Large devices converted to HVO 100

We were the first empty container depot in the Port of Hamburg to switch the fuel for all our large equipment to HVO 100, thereby reducing emissions from the forklift trucks by up to 90%.

This represents a significant step towards sustainability and environmental responsibility.

But what exactly are the advantages of HVO 100?

  • Significant reduction in emissions of up to 90% (depending on the raw materials)
  • Better air quality thanks to less CO₂, nitrogen oxide   and particulate matter.
  •  Renewable energy source: HVO 100 is made from renewable raw materials such as vegetable oils and animal fats.
  • High compatibility with existing diesel units, no conversions or adaptations to the engines required,
  • Reduced maintenance due to cleaner combustion of HVO 100
  • Conversion helps to fulfil stricter environmental regulations and emission requirements

Conclusion:

Switching to HVO 100 as fuel for the large appliances was the right step towards sustainability and environmental protection. By significantly reducing emissions, we are not only helping to improve air quality and protect the climate, but also ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and sustainably. HVO 100 is therefore a win-win solution that offers both ecological and economic benefits.

CMR offers a modern, environmentally friendly cleaning system for containers that meets the latest environmental standards. The wash water is treated in a circulation system using a Mall NeutraClear wash water treatment system. Our system can clean up to 10 containers at the same time, allowing us to react flexibly to our customers’ requirements.

Wash water treatment – economical and environmentally friendly
Treating the wash water from the containers not only protects the environment, but also helps to significantly reduce operating costs for car wash operators. Our Mall wash water treatment plant works with biological processes, without chemical additives or inoculation (inoculation).

By using modern, ecologically harmless cleaning agents in combination with powerful steam pressure cleaners, almost all stubborn soiling of the containers can be removed (with the exception of IMO soiling).
